How to pass MS Data Analyst Associate PL300 in 6 weeks
“Imposter syndrome:the psychological experience of feeling like a fake or a phony despite any genuine success that you have achieved.”

About three years ago, I was made redundant from a job I hated. The work environment was toxic — backstabbing was common, and I struggled to trust anyone. Even though I’m not necessarily a people-driven person, this experience was draining. What also wore me down was the role itself. I love analysing patterns and finding meaning in data, but the position I held didn’t even offer that, as there was no proper system in place.
Fast forward to now, I’ve self-studied my way to becoming a data analyst. After the redundancy, I took courses on platforms like Udemy and Codecademy. I built a portfolio and eventually landed a job as a data analyst.
This journey has been both challenging and rewarding. However, I must admit that I’ve had to battle imposter syndrome several times. Many of my colleagues hold degrees in Computer Science or IT. While I’ve gained solid skills in SQL and Power BI over the last three years, I still felt I needed a professional qualification to solidify my expertise.
