How to attract jobs without applying

I am an immigrant in Australia. I’m ethnically Asian and English is my second language, so I still have a ‘foreign accent’. And I’m a woman. And yet I got a job without even applying for it.

Statistically speaking, I’m in a ‘disadvantage category’ to get a job. It is partly true but also not true.
